What's in the Name?

Our name, Opineapple, comes from combining Opine - to express one’s viewpoint - with Pineapple, a symbol of warmth and hospitality (and a personal favorite of ours). It represents creativity, personality, and a welcoming approach to design.


With roots in small business, we understand the challenge of building a strong brand on a budget. We’ve been in your shoes. Our mission is to create marketing that reflects your identity and drives results - without overwhelming your time or your wallet.

I’m the CCO and one of the founders of Opineapple. As a former small business marketer, I know all too well how hard it is to advertise, manage websites, and build brand awareness for a small business. After more than 10 years of dealing with overpriced marketing services and agencies that don't seem to listen, it was time to do something about it. My husband, Jeff, and I promptly put our thinking caps on to figure out how to bring high quality marketing services to small, local businesses. Thus, Opineapple was born.


I absolutely love what I do because I am the creative side of Opineapple. In fact, what I do is the perfect blend of geek-meets-great-design, and that’s what we’re building here at Opineapple.

While Jackie is the people person (and the best pun writer), I'm all about data and details. My charge is to ensure no stone is unturned in bringing you more business. If it involves code, analytics, or any other nerdy facet of a campaign, I'll handle it for you. A penny pincher in my personal life, I know how to maximize a result with a small budget using any (legal) means necessary. Who buys something without a coupon, right?



Jackie and I are avid travelers. Our favorite place is Kauai, and it has lots of pineapples! One of my passions is manufacturing credit card points in order to travel. Ask me about it, and you might learn more than you ever cared to about credit cards! I also very much enjoy playing video games, which usually involves besting Jackie.
